Revelation 3:8 (New International Version)
I know your deeds. See, I have placed before you an open door that no one can shut. I know that you have little strength, yet you have kept my word and have not denied my name.

The child is the beauty of God present in the world – that greatest gift to a family.” (Blessed Teresa of Calcutta)

Yahoo ! Our dossier was submitted today .

Well, I just received notice from our awesome facilitator who told me that our dossier has been translated and submitted to the SDA. There was a little problem :( though, one of the children listed on our CSP was left out. It might have been during the translation of our paperwork. We have been approved for 3 special needs children and we need to hurry up and make sure that all 3 children are listed. We now wait for a travel date. This travel date will confirm that the SDA has reviewed our paperwork and has invited us to their country with the idea of adopting their wonderful children. Are we excited??? YOU BET we are. Please pray for us that the little glitch in the CSP gets ironed out quickly so that one of our children do not get left to go to the institution. We are adopting a 3 year old and 2 boys ready to be 5. All three children are at high risk for being transferred to an institution.

Here is a picture of our other son we are praying to adopt. His name Benjamin.

Dossier arrived in less than 48 hours.

Last year our dossier had been held up in customs all because Of the mistake of the shipping site requiring a price to be placed on the package of documents. Our sweet facilitator had to pay an equivalent of 80 dollars to remove it. We paid her back right away but the stress of being on the phone with the DHL customer service people and the ship site people was to much for me. Well, anyways fast forward to this year. I drove around to several places and found that shipping my package from Staples at their UPS section would be the best. To send those documents it cost 155.00 but they guaranteed that it would arrive in 48 hours. Guess what? They stayed true to their word. It was awesome to receive and email saying our package of documents had arrived. I did try Fed Ex but was so disappointed with the girl on the counter who insisted that she would describe the package as a "binder". I asked her to please just write "documents" and explained what happened last year. The moment she said no...I walked out. Sorry Fed Ex but there was no way I would get burned twice besides it was more expensive and their guaranteed date for delivery was longer. Anyways, thank you UPS.
My documents did have a picture of Mother Theresa taped to the binder...I just felt that it would also help and it did.
So now we wait for our documents to get submitted. Last Thursday some of our wonderful families from Reeces Rainbow were submitted while ours was still being translated so maybe tomorrow ( Thursday ) ours will be.

Here is a picture of our little princess we hope to adopt. Her new name will be Eellia Gianna we are just stuck on how to spell it. It would be pronounced Long E on her first name. I will take any advice on how to spell it. Steven chose the middle name.
