Revelation 3:8 (New International Version)
I know your deeds. See, I have placed before you an open door that no one can shut. I know that you have little strength, yet you have kept my word and have not denied my name.

The child is the beauty of God present in the world – that greatest gift to a family.” (Blessed Teresa of Calcutta)

Today is Sunday...what do we do to pass time.

Well, Here we are at the cafe again. Our apartment still has no internet but since we are hopefully leaving Wed who needs it right? Hope they do not charge us as an apartment with Internet access. We also had no water for 5 hours ( no warning but since I was familiar with this happening last year....I was prepared with hand sinitizer and wipes). There is no AC either but that is not to bad since there is a fan and the nights cool off. So much for kicking the coffee habit....expresso is what they serve here and it is good :). Anyways, so what do we do to pass time? Well, we watched the Discovery channel Bridezillas, Scrap racers, and Animal cops all these are in English. Elijah was very happy to see Shark week and SpongeBob. I read and Steven plays games on his Blackberry. If it is not to hot or raining like yesterday we went walking for sightseeing. There are so many clothing and shoe stores...it is unreal. Everyone in the capitol seems to have fashion as a priority. The women seem to have jumped out of a Cosmopolitan or Vogue Magazine. Beautiful people and so thin. Steven and Elijah also love seeing the cars. They are awesome to look at but other then one or two I just can't get into it like the boys do. Steven also loves watches and he saw one for sale...10,000 dollars!! yes, once you converted the money that was how much it cost in dollars. Why ?? Why would anyone spend this much when their are human beings (children) sitting waiting for the basics? Oh my, let me get off my soap box! I will not judge, who knows maybe the person who buys that watch will donated double that to a good cause. Right? Well, here are some pictures of our walking tour around the city. We can't wait to go see our kids but for now we are just learning about their country. It is a beautiful country with so much potential. Here is some pictures of the open market we went to.
Pictures of the open market. Steven said that was a picture of him back in the day (NOT)!
